Our work
Real work for real Gulf Coast businesses
We started on the Texas coast with two fishing brands: great products, loyal customers, and websites and social pages that didn’t show any of it. Here’s what we found and what we did. Client names are kept private.
Full rebuild · Sept 2026 to now
A Gulf Coast fishing-tackle maker
Handmade offshore trolling gear with a real record on the water and dealers from Texas to overseas, but a website that “wasn’t selling anything.” The goal: a store as professional as the product, with every channel pointing to it.
Business
Handmade offshore fishing tackle
Location
Texas Gulf Coast, selling worldwide
Platforms
WordPress, WooCommerce, Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube
Scope
Checkup, store rebuild, cleanup, social and Google setup, tracking
What we found
- A site that didn’t sell, with no clear path from product to checkout
- Photos of gear the company doesn’t make, and copy describing the wrong product
- Six product videos piled on one page instead of on the products
- Mismatched, cropped product photos across the shop
- No Facebook page, Google listing or YouTube channel tied to the store
- Analytics and tracking missing or broken
Store and website
- Audit, revamp plan and marketing plan delivered as a presentation
- Online store rebuilt with every size, finish and custom option
- Wrong photos and copy removed from pages and how-to articles
- Each size’s “watch it work” video placed on its own product page
- Shop grid and product photos made the same size and shape on desktop and phone
- Live shipping rates, Texas sales tax, card and PayPal checkout
- Dealer, quote request and custom-order pages
Google, social and email
- Facebook page created under the owner’s account and linked to Instagram
- Google Business Profile and YouTube channel under the owner’s Google account
- Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager and Search Console rebuilt
- SEO plugin and product schema set up for every listing
- Email marketing platform connected to the store
- Testimonial requests sent to captains and tackle shops
- Next: Google Merchant Center and the first YouTube uploads

Instagram engagement, the highest of the 11 brands compared
6×
The engagement rate of the category’s biggest brand, with a fraction of its followers
What we found
- Searching the brand’s own name brought up retailers, not its website
- About and Contact menu links led to “page not found”
- One-line product descriptions and no reviews on the site
- No “where to buy” page despite several national retailers
- Two different cities listed for the business
- Google Business Profile not claimed
What we checked
- Every page, link, policy and product description
- Search results for the brand name and products
- Google Business Profile status
- Every review on Google, retailers and forums
- Followers and engagement against 11 brands
- Name, address and phone across the web
The plan
- A two-week fix-up: pages, descriptions, policies, search basics, Google profile, where-to-buy and reviews
- Monthly help: updates, email, Google posts, review replies and a report each month
- Short videos, since anglers choose a lure by watching it swim
- Everything written in plain English, with every step explained
Figures from public social media statistics, retailer listings and each brand’s website, checked the first week of October 2026.
